The Trustees
Founding Trustees
Carole Green
Carole was born in 1936 in Chichester, West Sussex, England. She completed teacher training at Goldsmiths College in London, her main subject being music, and taught for a few years before marrying and raising a family. In 1974 Carole emigrated to New Zealand with her family and settled in Nelson. Interest and activity in art, crafts, animal welfare, organic gardening and the natural world have been constant throughout the years. In 1996 came her discovery of the Theosophical Society. She was an active member of the local branch for several years but at the same time attended many other groups and workshops for esoteric study. Carole's interest and involvement in esoteric work continues to deepen. |
Murray Rogers
Born in Christchurch and raised in Southern California, Murray has spent many years studying and applying the teachings of the Ageless Wisdom. He has been involved in the running of New Zealand’s most successful Green Dollar system, Golden Bay H.A.N.D.S., a complementary currency exchange almost from its inception in 1989. He is a long-time trustee of Te Whare Rangi Trust that oversees the Golden Bay Community Organic Gardens, providing diverse community activities and education. He has been continually involved with the retail store Golden Bay Organics, even before its opening in 1999 to the present. His interests include tournament scrabble and poetry with a soon-to-be-published book of poems on esoteric astrology. |
Other Trustees
Corina Nino
Corina was born in 1965 in Putaruru, New Zealand. She left for Canada at the age of 21 to pursue a Master’s degree in Adult Education, beginning a journey which has involved 25 years living in Ecuador, India, Turkey and Thailand. She returned to Nelson, NZ in mid-2014. Corina’s spiritual search has included valuable time listening to Mother Earth’s gentle promptings. This, with her study and practice of Reiki and other mindfulness work, has helped open the heart and shape her enquiry into the mind; to notice each experience as it arises and be curious about it – open and spacious. This commitment continues to provide her with the opportunity for growth and transformation. |
